During endurance training it can be hard to keep your energy level up. An endurance supplement can help you to make it through your endurance work out and have some energy left over. Most of the time endurance athletes depend on carbohydrates for their energy needs that come from food but there may not be enough carbohydrates coming from food to really keep you on your feet. You can grab some carbs to go in a power bar or even in a shake that is laden with carbs. It will help you body have the energy that you need to meet the challenge of endurance activities.


There are many different stimulants that come in endurance supplement form that contain high levels of caffeine. While some people do not have an issue with caffeine heavy stimulants some do. Only use this type of supplement if you are confident that you are not going to have to deal with side effects like jittery feelings and increased anxiousness.
